About the role:
The Assistant Conveyancer is part of the team providing exceptional customer service to clients and external stakeholders. This role involves assisting the Conveyancers and ensuring documents are prepared and executed in a timely and professional manner with the utmost accuracy, while supporting processes to ensure all legal requirements are adhered to.
 
Key Result Areas and Responsibilities:

  1. Conveyancing Assistance
  • Assist in gathering information for the Conveyancer and support in the conveyancing process.
  • Liaise with clients, Mortgage Brokers, Agents, and Financial Institutions.
  • Assist in the preparation of information for Form 1 statements and preparation/checking of settlement statements.
  • Gather documentation for lodgement with PEXA and internal systems.
  • Handle Revenue SA Portal and Title Insurance Applications.
  1. Administration Assistance
  • Assist team members with general queries (Form 1, searches, statements).
  • Maintain office security, opening and closing as required.
  • Work flexibly across a range of administrative tasks including meeting and greeting clients, draft client letters/emails and provide progress reports to the Director.
 
About you:
  • Working towards an Advanced Diploma of Conveyancing (or equivalent qualification as recognized by CBS).
  • File creation, tracking, and management experience.
  • Sensitive, patient, and understanding.
 
Systems:
  • Microsoft Office – intermediate.
  • Triconvey/Trisearch.
  • Adobe Acrobat (desirable).
  • Revenue SA.
