Project Administration Officer

About the Company:
Our client is a professional and rewarding government department which assists the lives of all South Australians. 
In this temp/casual role you will be part of a collaborative team and enjoy a varied, interesting role dealing with a variety of stakeholders internal and external. 

Job Summary:
As an Administration Officer you will provide essential administrative and customer service support.
The role will require a strong background in customer service,  problem solving, dealing with a high level of confidentiality,  conflict resolution and strong and accurate skills with MS Excel.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Communication: Assist with client inquiries, ensuring all calls and emails are responded to promptly and professionally.
  • Proactively resolve issues in writing and by phone 
  • Data Entry: Input and update important information with high attention to detail
  • Compliance - following policies and protocol
  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule meetings, appointments, and other engagements
  • Admin Support: Provide general administrative support to the project team
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook essential 
  • In-Office based role 
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive personality and curious mind
  • Previous customer service / administration experience (specific database training will be provided).
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Committed team player with a proactive and flexible approach.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Technical adaptability
  • Must have a current drivers licence
  • Must have a current police clearance or able to gain one 
  • Must have checkable work references
